Yoyoer B's reply to Kid.
this is Yoyoer B's reply to Kid's explanation.
this will probably be the last email i'm gonna post. lesson learnt. deal fair.

This is to clear some things up.
I did not call him any names. The only name calling was him saying I am a fool. If he can come up with the sms i sent to him with a name in it, i will apologise and accept every consequence that comes to me. However, unless he has a sms with evidence like I do, he cannot accuse me of name-calling.
I did not threaten him. At the very most, I told him not to waste my sms-es as he sent me repeated "please reply" and such. It's the same as the above paraghraph. He cannot prove anything, like I can.
I did tell him there were scratches the night before as I only recieved it from my dad on the night. He said if there were not too many he would buy it like agreed.
I did not know I had to tell him the Hitman was formally my friend's, as once I buy it, is it not considered mine?
The side caps of the Hitman was bought with my OWN MONEY, and was not in the cost of the hitman. It was a free gift as he expressed intrest in the caps. I got them from my friend with my OWN MONEY.
The silicone that was in the FHZ was put in BY HIM before he asked me to re-do it.
As for the National Day matter, it is a downright lie. I went to bukit batok mrt, where we dealt. If you do not believe me, feel free to make a trip down to Yio Chu Kang station and see if there are numerous atms there. We then arranged for a follow up meeting as he owed me $10 and I a shim. He then agreed to go to Yio Chu Kang.
He denies any form of threatening me. As said in the above, I am fully willing to bring my handphone down one of these Saturdays for the senior players to check or whatever. I really don't mind.
As such, I'd like to conclude by saying that he cannot be taken for his word at first glance, as he is already proven to be dishonest in his dealings with not only me, but other players alike.

Explanation from the Kid
This is the Kid's side of his Story and Explanation in relation to this post.
I the KID own up that i have made some big mistakes in the starting of the yoyoing..
From this mistake i have learnt a lot.
This yoyoer B and i had number of deals but each time we didn't have anything smooth..
Most of the part the yoyoer B said is true but i see that he did not state what he has done to me(all the threatening and the names he called me).
I understand he was at a hospital but the point is that before that 40 calls i gave him he did not inform me..I thought that he had forgotten or something have had happened..
And about the hitman deal is that he told me he had few hitmans and he could sell one.
He did not inform me that it was his friends, he also told me that there was no serious damages.
When i saw the yoyo i was disappointed,it had many dings and many scratches..and the caps he gave me was also in a bad condition..Well i got over it and he told me that since he needed the money badly he owes me for me buying the hitman..He told me that he would re silicon my fhz which was only BONDED BY HIM at first.He told me that after he has siliconed it he would come down to bukit batok by himself..Later during national day he started to change the deal,he said that he would not come down and said that i should come since he came to bukit batok last time. I was very busy during that period and it was not the deal for me to come down to yck where he lives..
Also about the atm machine:I had forgotten to draw money and i had to go to a nearest atm machines to get the money.I asked him if he could wait but he said that he would be ok to follow,so i left him to follow,and on the way there was only one stair case NOT 3.
Other thing was that recently i wanted to sell my fhz hubstack kit,he said that he was interested so i asked him to offer.He offered me 5 strings.Im sure you guys know that hubstack kit costs well over 5 strings.I was so shocked that i asked him if he knew what his talking he said "you asked me to offer so i offered,in the future know what u want, DONT TRY TO ACT SMART"I was so angered by that statement. I was just wanting to know what he can offer and he told me that i should NOT ACT SMART!!!

he wanted my yoyo 'badly', he offered to trade + cash. i said i'll consider, depending on the yoyo condition, otherwise its a cash only deal. but he keep trying to make me promise its a trade + cash by confirming with me, "so its the yoyo + $xx right?". i keep telling him, i will not give him a high value on his FHZ even if its KKed, probably only $20-30. i even told him, he could sell it at higher price, but he insist to trade with me, so fine. i end up taking 90 and the KKed FHZ. but he trade/sold it off within 2 wks if i remember correctly. and recently i was told by fellow yoyo player this kid told him i cheated him. Kid, i told u i wasn't gonna giv your yoyo a high value, i end up doing so, i told u u could have sell your FHZ to others u din't. its a deal, u insist on dealing with me after asking so much, and now u want to go around saying the seller cheated u?

I've mentioned, the description is all given by the seller as it is.
this kid blames me for not putting clear info on the raiders he's selling. he TYPED, its not modded properly, and so i copy & paste. but it seems that its spoiled and the buyer din't want it and so he blame it on me for 'not stating the exact info'.

This email is regarding the issue of XXXX. People from the Singapore yoyo-ing community have voiced their concerns about this particular person, and his misdeeds. Indeed, examples such as frequent pestering and persistent repeating of the same questions have sparked the attention of the community. Such actions are considered unethical and irritating. Whether or not a player wants to sell his or her yoyos is entirely up to the person himself and should he refuse to sell, it would be wise not to ask again every 5 mins or so.
I, for one, am not sparred of his constant questioning. When I first added him on msn, I expected him to be just another yoyo-er, whom I can befriend and talk to. However, barely 3 sentences into our conversation, the question was popped. "What yoyos do you have to sell". He went on to ask what yoyos i had. I told him i had a yoyo which i did NOT intend to sell. After that, he went on to repeatedly ask me to sell it, and kept harping on the issue. Normally, I do not ignore people on msn, but it became so irritating that I had no choice.
Hope you hear out my two cents worth.

I've met XXXX on the singaporeyoing blog. I saw his post on the cbox, asking for anyone selling fhzs. I've always been a duncan fan, and i had one fhz too many at home, and since i needed money, i decided to sell it to him. that very night, we discussed the deal. first he offered me 25 dollars for the fhz. it was pretty too much for a second hand, when spinworkx is selling brand new ones for just 7 dollars more. i asked him to rethink. he then asked if i wanted to trade, and i said no, because the reason i needed to sell my fhz was my need of money. he then said he had no money, and kept bugging me to trade. finally, i said ok, perhaps i could sell some other yoyo, and it'd be interesting to get another new yoyo i haven't tried. he then offered his xconvict, which likes his previous proposal, was too good an offer. i asked him to rethink, and he said it was worth it because it was second hand, had scratches etc. compared to my fhz which was satined, and silicon recessed. i agreed. he then proceeded by asking me for extra silicon rings. i was pretty annoyed, because this was not part of the deal. but since he seemed nice, just not very experience (he told me he started a few weeks or months ago). i said okay, if i had the time, and extra silcon, because silicone takes a long time to fully cure.
he then asked if i had a yoyo sling, and whether i was selling it. i said no, but i said he could find instructions how to make one himself on the net. he requested that i find the link for him. now quite irritated as it was quite late in the night already. i quickly searched and gave him the link. and guess what? he asked me to make one for him, and throw it in the deal.
now, from a deal of a fhz, satined, silconed, stainless bearing for a xcon, it became an xcon for a fhz, satin, silcione, extra silicon, stainless bearing, dif pad, extra strings ( he wanted COLORED ones) and a yoyo sling. i quickly agreed, as it was rather easy, and i got his number and signed off.
the next day, i found out i ran out of silicon, just enough to make one ring. i smsed him, and he became angry that i went against the deal. i understood, and asked if i could make it up in some other way. he said no. he wanted silicon rings. fine, i'd try to get them. and he started being pushy about the deal. he kept trying to push the deal date earlier, and earlier. and when i couldnt make it and rejected, he'd DEMAND an explanation, and that i'd try to go.
i'd fractured my wrist a few weeks ago, and was at the doctor's. i had to go for a checkup which required an XRay. for some reason, he started calling me. i could not accept the call for i was in the xray room, and yet i could not turn my phone off as i was waiting for my mother's message. i swear, he called me over 40 times. all missed calls, though. after the whole episode, i asked him what the matter was, not daring to express my annoyance just of yet. he just said he was available at that time, and wanted to deal, and asked why i couldnt pick up the call or deal with him then. What. The. Hell. what did he want me to do, jump up from my bed to rush to his home to deal?
on the eve of dealing, i forgot about it and i did not silcone his fhz. i asked if we could deal on another date. he said no, "if you cant meet tomorrow, no deal." i was fine with that, as i'm not anxious to get rid of my yoyos, and i started not to like him already. i replied, "ok, im not desperate anyway." and he replied, "please? i really need the yoyo." first he tries to be adamant and the one in charge, and tries to threaten me. now he begs me. i said okay, but i'll give u the rubber and stuff to do yourself. he then demanded why i had no silcone, when i'd already explained to him, and he agreed. he kept asking if i was trying to cheat him, and whether im sure if it works. i'm not showing off, but i think i've been in the commuinity, though not actively going down for meetings, (for 2 years) to know what works and what doesnt.
i told him if he didnt like it, forget it. he replied, saying, "be considerate. you will stick to the deal." i mean, i understand his indignance, but i got pissed when he told me what to do. i met him the next day in the afternoon, after receiving numerous messages from him, both saying, "please be there at 12 SHARP" and "please don't be late" and "you must stick to the deal" and so on, confirming and confirming and confirming our deals.
i was there a few minutes early, and i thought he'd be there, after his speech on how i should be there on time. i had to wait for 20 minutes till he came. we proceeded to the side for testing both parties yoyos. he tried it, and he complained of wobbling. now, i've been playing that yoyo for a very long time, and no wobble was present. when i told him it might be because of his throw, he tried to tell me on the proper ways on throwing, like he's a proffessional. he's been in yoyoing for 2 months max, and he's trying to teach me how I should throw.
he also complained that the bind was not tight. please, for begginners, he shouldnt even be binding, much less complaining that my yoyos has a weak bind when its actually due to learning something he shouldnt have yet.
the deal was finally done after he checked my bag for other yoyos to try.
when i reached home, he started another bout of smses, asking me if i was selling my yoyojam kickside. i said no, already "scared" of him. he then kept giving me offers. i mean, when someone says no, obviously its because he wants to keep it, right? it's like going to mickey then keeps asking if you can have his winning speeder or something. seriously. i know im aeons and leagues and milky ways away from mickey, but the concept is there : i wanted to keep it.
and the days passed, he kept asking me if i had a certain yoyo, if i was selling stuff, etc.
another day, during school hours, he kept smsing me during my life science practical, asking if i wanted raiders. i was pretty interested, but after i saw him selling my fhz off at yoyoforsale.blogspot.com, i was really hurt as he got my yoyo just to sell it away again. i know, he can do whatever he wants with it, but after so much care and love put into it, he just sells it, and it's gone. this is on my own part, and he cannot be blamed. i am emotional, i admit it.
i asked him how much, and he said 50. that's kind of nuts. i can get a NEW pair for 62, and whats more, they werent even matched colors. to add on, i didnt have that much money. i said no, of course, and he asked how much i had with me. i said 15, because seriously, that was what i had left. he told me to get lost, fool, and not waste his time.
now, i wasnt the one trying to buy it from him, i wasnt even offering my $15. i know it sounds absurd. but i needed the $15 VERY MUCH at that time.
i was offended as he had just told me off for something i didnt do. i wasnt the one who spammed his inbox every two minutes asking for a reply, or my best offer.
one of his smses read, "reply now, im not as free as you". im pretty sure he was the one trying to sell his raiders to me, not vice versa, and me trying to get them from HIM.
he didnt contact me after a few days, but another sms came in. "okay, i offer 30." i already said, I DONT HAVE MONEY. i told him that, and he kept insisting i buy them, and even offered metal spacers.
i wondered why he was so desperate to sell them for a low price, especially when he was equally desperate to get them.
finally, i said ok, deciding that since i was going to get my allowance by then, i'd have enough money to pay him by then. i did, however, tell him that it was not confirmed, and that i might not have the money. he said okay, and if i had the money, then deal, if no, then nevermind.
a few days before the deal date we got into another fight. he said, "if dont have money, then dont come and ask for yoyos, fool." if he had told me that he didnt want to deal with me, i'd be seriously elated as 15 dollars, to me, is a lot. but he had said it was okay, even with the money pending.
i got pissed, and ranted everything to a yoyoer(yoyoer C).
yoyoer C then told me that the raiders were actually bought from him, and then when XXXX had cracked the yoyos and spacers while modding wrongly, he tried selling it back. unsuccessful, he tried selling it to me. i was really furious. he tried scamming me! he never told me it was modded, he even said it was mint.
i confronted him, and he tried weasling out of it by saying it was not spoilt, just modded wrongly. im pretty sure the raider mod is one of those mods where you do or die. if u do it wrongly, it's gone. and then, like before, he tried telling me about raiders and what is considered spoilt and what is not, and tried to make me sound noob and beginner by telling me he knows better than me about raiders. if yoyoer C told me that, i'd have accepted it fully as i acknowledge yoyoer C's superiority to me in yoyoing. but this guy started only a few months ago!
quickly ended the deal with him in case he started chasing me to buy again.
we did not contact each other, until we brushed at the shop one saturday while i came down to pass something to colin.
the animosity between us was awkward and though i was rarely in the fault, i decided to take the first step in apologising, this you can check with him to confirm.
and so we stopped trying to kill each other with hate messages, and everything was fine for a period.
then he asked if he could buy my hitman. my friend has one, which he was selling, and i was already half way through the deal. i decided to sell it to him, as if i bought it, my dad would only take it away from me. so i bought it from my friend, and it was in my dad's possession until the deal date.
XXXX then asked for silcione rings, foam rings, extra string and shims to go along with them, not mentioning a "free" satin finish.
as i already bought it, i was caught in a stalemate and could only agree. as the yoyo did not come with that many accessories and fancy stuff, the price was, of course, higher.
i prepared everything, even going to the extent of buying side caps for him with my own expense as he wanted them, and replacing his bearing for my stainless one.
and guess what? now that im the one desperate, he tried threatening me that he wouldnt buy if there were scratches or dings. i already told him beforehand there WERE scratches. he said if there are too many, he wont buy. he told me to count the scratches. how do you count scratches on a satined yoyo? now how, that i've bought the yoyo for him, and side caps with my OWN MONEY?
he kept threatening me with things like not buying, or lesser price... we finally settled on selling first, and if he wanted, satin again to remove scratches.
on the date of dealing, i passed him the yoyo, and he didnt have the money. he requested that i walk with him all the way to the ATM to withdraw. What the hell? Who deals like this? after making three seperate trips to different auto teller machines, he only could fork out 3/4 of the amount. he said he would mail the rest of the money to me. i was scared that he would take the opportunity to "lose" the money in the mail and not pay me, so i declined, and told him to meet me again instead. then he passed me my old fhz, and told me to silcione if i can.
a few days passed, and he kept sending messages like, "this is an unfair deal. i feel like returning everything to you. i can get a polish, no scratch, mint, shimmed, siliconed hitman for less than 40." (which is really either rubbish or rare)
then, again, he changed his words, and threatened if i didnt re silicone his fhz, he wouldnt give me my 10 dollars, and would cancel the whole deal and return the stuff to me. the reason why he had to re silicon was because he did it wrongly when he tried.
that's rubbish. and up to now, he has not given me my 10 dollars, though its partially my fault my handphone was confiscated for a week.
finally i got back my phone, and i contacted him. he then told me to meet him at HIS mrt station to collect MY money, at HIS timings. i could not bargain as i had promised to give him a shim, but i'm pretty sure you'd agree it isnt fair.
XXXX has caused me much distress and he is a potential scammer.
Anyone who deals with him should be very careful.

I've always been a duncan fan, and i had one fhz too many at home, and since i needed money, i decided to sell it to him. that very night, we discussed the deal. first he offered me 25 dollars for the fhz. it was pretty too much for a second hand, when spinworkx is selling brand new ones for just 7 dollars more. i asked him to rethink. he then asked if i wanted to trade, and i said no, because the reason i needed to sell my fhz was my need of money. he then said he had no money, and kept bugging me to trade. finally, i said ok, perhaps i could sell some other yoyo, and it'd be interesting to get another new yoyo i haven't tried. he then offered his xconvict, which likes his previous proposal, was too good an offer. i asked him to rethink, and he said it was worth it because it was second hand, had scratches etc. compared to my fhz which was satined, and silicon recessed. i agreed. he then proceeded by asking me for extra silicon rings. i was pretty annoyed, because this was not part of the deal. but since he seemed nice, just not very experience (he told me he started a few weeks or months ago). i said okay, if i had the time, and extra silcon, because silicone takes a long time to fully cure.
he then asked if i had a yoyo sling, and whether i was selling it. i said no, but i said he could find instructions how to make one himself on the net. he requested that i find the link for him. now quite irritated as it was quite late in the night already. i quickly searched and gave him the link. and guess what? he asked me to make one for him, and throw it in the deal.
now, from a deal of a fhz, satined, silconed, stainless bearing for a xcon, it became an xcon for a fhz, satin, silcione, extra silicon, stainless bearing, dif pad, extra strings ( he wanted COLORED ones) and a yoyo sling. i quickly agreed, as it was rather easy, and i got his number and signed off.
the next day, i found out i ran out of silicon, just enough to make one ring. i smsed him, and he became angry that i went against the deal. i understood, and asked if i could make it up in some other way. he said no. he wanted silicon rings. fine, i'd try to get them. and he started being pushy about the deal. he kept trying to push the deal date earlier, and earlier. and when i couldnt make it and rejected, he'd DEMAND an explanation, and that i'd try to go.
i'd fractured my wrist a few weeks ago, and was at the doctor's. i had to go for a checkup which required an XRay. for some reason, he started calling me. i could not accept the call for i was in the xray room, and yet i could not turn my phone off as i was waiting for my mother's message. i swear, he called me over 40 times. all missed calls, though. after the whole episode, i asked him what the matter was, not daring to express my annoyance just of yet. he just said he was available at that time, and wanted to deal, and asked why i couldnt pick up the call or deal with him then. What. The. Hell. what did he want me to do, jump up from my bed to rush to his home to deal?
on the eve of dealing, i forgot about it and i did not silcone his fhz. i asked if we could deal on another date. he said no, "if you cant meet tomorrow, no deal." i was fine with that, as i'm not anxious to get rid of my yoyos, and i started not to like him already. i replied, "ok, im not desperate anyway." and he replied, "please? i really need the yoyo." first he tries to be adamant and the one in charge, and tries to threaten me. now he begs me. i said okay, but i'll give u the rubber and stuff to do yourself. he then demanded why i had no silcone, when i'd already explained to him, and he agreed. he kept asking if i was trying to cheat him, and whether im sure if it works. i'm not showing off, but i think i've been in the commuinity, though not actively going down for meetings, (for 2 years) to know what works and what doesnt.
i told him if he didnt like it, forget it. he replied, saying, "be considerate. you will stick to the deal." i mean, i understand his indignance, but i got pissed when he told me what to do. i met him the next day in the afternoon, after receiving numerous messages from him, both saying, "please be there at 12 SHARP" and "please don't be late" and "you must stick to the deal" and so on, confirming and confirming and confirming our deals.
i was there a few minutes early, and i thought he'd be there, after his speech on how i should be there on time. i had to wait for 20 minutes till he came. we proceeded to the side for testing both parties yoyos. he tried it, and he complained of wobbling. now, i've been playing that yoyo for a very long time, and no wobble was present. when i told him it might be because of his throw, he tried to tell me on the proper ways on throwing, like he's a proffessional. he's been in yoyoing for 2 months max, and he's trying to teach me how I should throw.
he also complained that the bind was not tight. please, for begginners, he shouldnt even be binding, much less complaining that my yoyos has a weak bind when its actually due to learning something he shouldnt have yet.
the deal was finally done after he checked my bag for other yoyos to try.
when i reached home, he started another bout of smses, asking me if i was selling my yoyojam kickside. i said no, already "scared" of him. he then kept giving me offers. i mean, when someone says no, obviously its because he wants to keep it, right? it's like going to mickey then keeps asking if you can have his winning speeder or something. seriously. i know im aeons and leagues and milky ways away from mickey, but the concept is there : i wanted to keep it.
and the days passed, he kept asking me if i had a certain yoyo, if i was selling stuff, etc.
another day, during school hours, he kept smsing me during my life science practical, asking if i wanted raiders. i was pretty interested, but after i saw him selling my fhz off at yoyoforsale.blogspot.com, i was really hurt as he got my yoyo just to sell it away again. i know, he can do whatever he wants with it, but after so much care and love put into it, he just sells it, and it's gone. this is on my own part, and he cannot be blamed. i am emotional, i admit it.
i asked him how much, and he said 50. that's kind of nuts. i can get a NEW pair for 62, and whats more, they werent even matched colors. to add on, i didnt have that much money. i said no, of course, and he asked how much i had with me. i said 15, because seriously, that was what i had left. he told me to get lost, fool, and not waste his time.
now, i wasnt the one trying to buy it from him, i wasnt even offering my $15. i know it sounds absurd. but i needed the $15 VERY MUCH at that time.
i was offended as he had just told me off for something i didnt do. i wasnt the one who spammed his inbox every two minutes asking for a reply, or my best offer.
one of his smses read, "reply now, im not as free as you". im pretty sure he was the one trying to sell his raiders to me, not vice versa, and me trying to get them from HIM.
he didnt contact me after a few days, but another sms came in. "okay, i offer 30." i already said, I DONT HAVE MONEY. i told him that, and he kept insisting i buy them, and even offered metal spacers.
i wondered why he was so desperate to sell them for a low price, especially when he was equally desperate to get them.
finally, i said ok, deciding that since i was going to get my allowance by then, i'd have enough money to pay him by then. i did, however, tell him that it was not confirmed, and that i might not have the money. he said okay, and if i had the money, then deal, if no, then nevermind.
a few days before the deal date we got into another fight. he said, "if dont have money, then dont come and ask for yoyos, fool." if he had told me that he didnt want to deal with me, i'd be seriously elated as 15 dollars, to me, is a lot. but he had said it was okay, even with the money pending.
i got pissed, and ranted everything to a yoyoer(yoyoer C).
yoyoer C then told me that the raiders were actually bought from him, and then when XXXX had cracked the yoyos and spacers while modding wrongly, he tried selling it back. unsuccessful, he tried selling it to me. i was really furious. he tried scamming me! he never told me it was modded, he even said it was mint.
i confronted him, and he tried weasling out of it by saying it was not spoilt, just modded wrongly. im pretty sure the raider mod is one of those mods where you do or die. if u do it wrongly, it's gone. and then, like before, he tried telling me about raiders and what is considered spoilt and what is not, and tried to make me sound noob and beginner by telling me he knows better than me about raiders. if yoyoer C told me that, i'd have accepted it fully as i acknowledge yoyoer C's superiority to me in yoyoing. but this guy started only a few months ago!
quickly ended the deal with him in case he started chasing me to buy again.
we did not contact each other, until we brushed at the shop one saturday while i came down to pass something to colin.
the animosity between us was awkward and though i was rarely in the fault, i decided to take the first step in apologising, this you can check with him to confirm.
and so we stopped trying to kill each other with hate messages, and everything was fine for a period.
then he asked if he could buy my hitman. my friend has one, which he was selling, and i was already half way through the deal. i decided to sell it to him, as if i bought it, my dad would only take it away from me. so i bought it from my friend, and it was in my dad's possession until the deal date.
XXXX then asked for silcione rings, foam rings, extra string and shims to go along with them, not mentioning a "free" satin finish.
as i already bought it, i was caught in a stalemate and could only agree. as the yoyo did not come with that many accessories and fancy stuff, the price was, of course, higher.
i prepared everything, even going to the extent of buying side caps for him with my own expense as he wanted them, and replacing his bearing for my stainless one.
and guess what? now that im the one desperate, he tried threatening me that he wouldnt buy if there were scratches or dings. i already told him beforehand there WERE scratches. he said if there are too many, he wont buy. he told me to count the scratches. how do you count scratches on a satined yoyo? now how, that i've bought the yoyo for him, and side caps with my OWN MONEY?
he kept threatening me with things like not buying, or lesser price... we finally settled on selling first, and if he wanted, satin again to remove scratches.
on the date of dealing, i passed him the yoyo, and he didnt have the money. he requested that i walk with him all the way to the ATM to withdraw. What the hell? Who deals like this? after making three seperate trips to different auto teller machines, he only could fork out 3/4 of the amount. he said he would mail the rest of the money to me. i was scared that he would take the opportunity to "lose" the money in the mail and not pay me, so i declined, and told him to meet me again instead. then he passed me my old fhz, and told me to silcione if i can.
a few days passed, and he kept sending messages like, "this is an unfair deal. i feel like returning everything to you. i can get a polish, no scratch, mint, shimmed, siliconed hitman for less than 40." (which is really either rubbish or rare)
then, again, he changed his words, and threatened if i didnt re silicone his fhz, he wouldnt give me my 10 dollars, and would cancel the whole deal and return the stuff to me. the reason why he had to re silicon was because he did it wrongly when he tried.
that's rubbish. and up to now, he has not given me my 10 dollars, though its partially my fault my handphone was confiscated for a week.
finally i got back my phone, and i contacted him. he then told me to meet him at HIS mrt station to collect MY money, at HIS timings. i could not bargain as i had promised to give him a shim, but i'm pretty sure you'd agree it isnt fair.
XXXX has caused me much distress and he is a potential scammer.
Anyone who deals with him should be very careful.

this is an update on XXXX. He has since asked me to trade something for his hubstack kit. He said it was in perfect condition, and that made me suspicious enough already. I was not at all keen on the hubstack kit (meant for FHZ) and said I had nothing to trade. He asked what yoyo I could trade. I said nothing, again. He asked, "Any non-duncans?" the same answer, no. Then he messaged, "But you have yoyojams what. What about your kickside?" My kickside is my second favorite yoyo and I've told him many times I wasn't going to sell, trade or give it away. Once again, I told him no.
He started getting desperate and asked for KK bearings, Ceramic Bearings, Strings etc.
This really raised the red flag as the last time he got too "generous", I ended up almost
getting scammed by him. He then offered BOTH his FHZs, and his hubstack kit. Though the offer
was indeed tempting, I told myself I wouldn't deal with this guy anymore as he could be honest
or otherwise, I don't know. He kept asking for accessories, strings, bearings, etc.
Then he asked, "C'mon lah, you don't have string?"
To show my sarcasm, I offered 5 Poly strings. Then he replied something like, "You don't know
the cost of the hubstack kit is it?" I told him that since he asked for my best offer, he should have
been prepared to accept the fact that my offers were not up to his expectations. Since he knows
what he wants, (if not he wouldn't be so clear on what he didn't want), I told him not to waste my
sms-es in the future and just tell me straight what he was aiming for.
He said, "I know what I want. Know what you are talking about next time. I never had people
offer this kind of stupid things even when I said anything."
There he goes again, saying it like he's got wonderful contacts in the yoyoing scene where
they would line up to get his yoyo stuff. The last time, he said he was offered a deal of
polished, mint, kk bearing-ed, shimmed Hitman for less than 40 dollars.
I was kind of irritated as he kept trying to seem like he was in this line for very long. Like before,
I admit comparatively I'm stagnant and dormant in the scene when it comes to meetings and all,
but I'm sure my experience can top his 2 plus month long experience.
He then asked when he could collect his FHZ, which I had to silicone for free, being forced
because if I did not, he would break deal and all my money would be wasted.
I requested for him to come down to Yio Chu Kang station instead, because the previous meeting
I had to go to Bukit Batok MRT where he lives. I knew he wouldn't agree but I tried my luck and
told myself to keep bargaining. He said no, as expected, and said that he would keep my $10.
I know, it's ONLY $10, but I'm a secondary school student and $10 is a lot, worth 3 days worth of
allowance and transport.
True, I have his FHZ with me, but my $10 is with him. I couldn't care less about the FHZ, but I was desperate
for the $10.
I tried bargaining more, and he said Woodlands. That's kind of in between. I agree, seeing that Woodlands
is only 16 minutes away from my station. Then he says that he remembers me agreeing to silicon his OTHER FHZ,
which means once I collect my $10 and give him his FHZ, I have to go back, buy silicone, and recess and silicone
his FHZ for him AGAIN and go down to Bukit Batok AGAIN. Just because he thinks the Hitman deal was unfair.
By the way, he has already got rid of the Hitman that was sold to him.
Oh, and I'm not sure of this, it might not be you, but if it is, then you have more information.
He said a Jayson traded a g5 for his FHZ and $100, and kept saying that this Jayson cheated him
and stuff, and I think he's telling quite a few people that, to those who listen.
I'm not trying to say you cheated him or anything, because
if I were the Jayson, I'D feel cheated, not the other way round.
I'm not sure if you're that Jayson though, but XXXX does not understand the
reason that once a deal is agreed upon and both parties are happy with it,
it is no longer cheating even if it's selling a FreeHand MG for $5.
For me it's different, as he tries to squeeze more out of me in every SMS he sends me.

Synergy Caps

These are the upcoming Synergy Caps from YoYojam.
currently available in 2 sizes with more in the work.
according to what he posted, these are size 1 and 3. small and large.
Size 1 will fit yyj products with Hitman size pogs. Take out the art and pop in the Synergy Cap. This will also fit the Kickside, Bolt, Boltleg, Aquarius, X-Convict and the Axiom. It may fit others.
Size 3 caps fit the larger, cap size found on yo-yo's. This included the DM, X-Con, speeder, and maybe a few others. and surprisingly, the size 3 Cap fits FHZ. shown on the photo.
This is how the Synergy Caps is going to look like.

So, This is a cheap (approx. 8 bucks a pair) and fast way to put hubstacks on your yo-yo's, without any modding.
Questions I expect to hear....
1: Do the Caps create Vibe/Wobble - Yes, You should not expect these Synergy Caps to perform well in a Free Style
2: How easy are they to remove - Easy. using a Jewelers Screwdriver, it took me less then three seconds to remove the Synergy Caps, and then re-install them.
3: Is it worth it - At the 8 dollar a pair price point, they are a fun edition to your existing collection of plastic (and maybe a few metal) YYJ and Duncan products.
4: Is that really a Hubstacked Aquarius - No, It is a Synergised aquarius.
5: Can you "Synergise" a Hayabusa - Sure, It takes FHZ caps doesn't it?

Kentaro YoYos!
The TURNING POINT!
The Turning Point is the first yoyo from Kentaro, designed and made in the US.
it seems that YoYoNation.com already have the TP now, but have no idea when they'll release it. not sure about the price either.
there'll be a second model which is designed and made in Japan.
The 2nd model from Kentaro doesn't have a name for it yet, din' get any pictures as well...
but it'll be using large bearing, and most likely be using half silicon, half Kentaro pad as respond. Estimated cost for this 2nd model will be 130USD.

but its a prototype using scratch-resistant hardcoat!

this is a 09 888.
Ben stated in the forum its not highwall, not small bearing.
so the bearing size will be a new one.
through the picture i'm guessing its also using a new respond size, the same as VK.
and it seems to me the 09 888 have slimmer rims.
I could be wrong, i'm just guessing.
