X³ Bearing Removal Tool
anyone who own a X3 yoyo would know that their yoyo has tight bearing seat, its hard to remove the bearing. so here's the tool by X3, with X3 engraved on them.
These tools are great for both size C .250 in x .500 in x .187 bearing, as well as,
Metric 6mm×13mm×5mm bearing! one on each end of the tool.

The Aware is designed by Matthieu "GRAOU" MARECHAL
The Aware was born for the first time just after Stampede. I had sharp forms in minds, contrary to my first design. Points, angles… When I showed this design to Xela, least that I can say is that he was not enthusiast. I have to say that I understood him, being myself not completely satisfied; but I knew that I was chasing something good.
A few months later, I took back the plans. I decided to run only a single idea, rather than having several irons in the fire! An empty hub, blank, a yoyo where the distribution of the masses would be made outside and not inside.
What here is thus what has succeeds in the Aware. An inverted work, in a way, because I have for habit to define at first the general shape, and to place then the masses according to the wished play. There, I drew at first this empty hub, and placed my masses all around, obtaining something unconventional, but interesting. Xela agreed. The Aware was born.
As for the name, it is about a private joke which a few Inhabitants of Nantes will understand...

alright, the moment I receive this package, open it, take the yoyo out, it reminds me of the Adegle Formosa. comparison picture below.
the hub area is a little similar, the side profile too, except that the Stampede is more wing shaped, and wider I think, and of course, a tighter bind.
First I would like to point out something. one of the earlier day when the yoyo was being passed around for trying, some one got the string stucked inside the gap, and took apart the yoyo, not a problem though, it wasn't the first time, but somehow, during this one time, due to some reason, the yoyo couldn't be tighten all the way, resulting in string slipping into the gap between the bearing and the seat. the bearing for some reason came a little loose and can't fit all the way back in, but problem was solved after that.
I'm not saying this yoyo suck, I have this problem with my C3 Darkstar too, but look how good the Darkstar is. so before I have the bearing seat issue, the yoyo was really fun, at first I couldn't really get used to it because its rather wide. and I find the pads a little snaggy, could be just me though, and grinding was good, but I couldn't get the 7 seconds grind. as time goes by, I got used to the width, the bearing was smooth, it felt so nice. it's got pretty good stability, definitely makes landing tricks easy, but maybe a little difficulty for pop out dismount to some players. IRG is so easy! horizontal style? like usual, I can't do it, but read on!
so then the bearing seat thing happen. now, reviews/write-up hardly talks about things like that I guess, but I think I need to talk about my experience with the yoyo.
so one of the players encounter string slippage and ask me about it, and I was surprise, i have no idea who try it before the current player did, something must have happen that lead to the bearing being slightly out of the seat. couldn't tighten the halves all the way back because of the seat. what I did was keep taking apart and screwing them back, it kinda result in "filing/sanding" bits of the seat out, like some powder of silvers, couldn't find the right way to describe it... after a few taking apart and crewing back, I manage to tighten the halves back all the way. so whats the playability now?
during that point of time, I immediately felt it wasn't as smooth as before, time passed and players continue to want to try the Stampede out. I haven't throw the Stampede in a while since that episode, busy with schools, trying out other samples, but recently have been throwing it again, players still trying it, they love it. pads broken in, I have no idea, I have to say the bearing seat no longer affect the play, probably because of the constant taking part and putting back. its now smooth! not like how it feels after the bearing seat issue, but I have to say during spin, I can feel the bearing didn't run as stock as it used to be, like stock smooth. it handles everything I threw at it, still spin very long, very stable, now okay, horizontal again? the video was filmed way after the yoyo have the bearing seat issue, and Darrell Mitchell intentionally did his horizontal trick slowly, slower than he usually does, to show you the stability of the yoyo!
now this write-up, I would say, it kinda have a two standard thing, one when I got it stock, the other after the bearing seat issue. I don't always encounter bearing problems like this, but this one I feel the need to let you guys know, but I don't think other Stampedes have this issue, because I have taken apart the Stampede a few times when I got it, and nothing happened, something must have happened during the try out session but I didn't witness it.
If you own a Stampede, leave a comment! do you face the same problem? I hope I'm the only one.
**forgot to add that, Darrell gave a huge ding to it during filming, not on purpose of course, loud one, and guess what, a anno scuff, but no vibes. how's that?
