King Yo Star Kuyostar

so I went to the 91yo forum and read about how the Kuyostar came about, and even though I'm a Singaporean chinese, I have little difficulty reading chinese characters. yes.
but long story short, from what I understand, the user whom I think is Kuyos? mentioned a few yoyo names, and that the new Kuyostar is kind of a blend between one of his old concept with his old Kuyostar. I know, the information that I've given is very little, but I tried. Anyone who have more info might wanna reply to this entry.

King Yo Star - Hop King

so Kuyos Chen Jia Lin offered to send one of this to me.
i was of course excited, and i apologize for taking such a long time to post this.
i tried one at AP2011 but they say its not yet perfect, indeed if i remember correctly, that one didn't felt as nice in the hand compared to this. so here are more photos!
the package came with a mini CD, i haven't get to see what is it about.
i'm sure people would want to see the comparison shot between the Hop King and the Miracle/SUPERwide, but since i've only got Miracle, i'll post just Miracle.
they both have this similar inner rim ridge thingy if you look closely. or u can click to enlarge the image.

just Hop King.
okay, honestly, i have no idea whats the anti vibration system about but i'm guessing its the way they did the axe system, you see the axle sticking out through the hub? i am guessing this is where it lies. the axle feels kind of loose but its not, you know, likes its shaky when you screw it in. but i guess maybe this actually helps to prevent vibration in some way.
i'll be honest, if you ask me i would prefer the Miracle, really, this yoyo feels kind of slippy to me, i could do with a tighter bind, probably because the pads are way too recessed for me, look at the last photo. but its subjective, it all depends on the players' preference.

is it good for Hops? i'm not a hop trick person, but i guess its made for that, y'all know how CJL does his tricks, hop hop hop hop hop and it goes on. but one thing about it is its got smaller yoyo width than the Miracle, so its easier to get used to for most players.
don't really grind for me, but don't think its build for that, its long spinning, handles most tricks i threw at it. just a little too slippy for me. but some players who have already tried the sample likes it.

Also, King Yo Star is sponsoring an event, HUGE APOLOGIES, i'm not sure if the event is over, i was given a link to it, but i forgot to save it, they have this limited edition black Hop King, if the event is not yet over, and the organisers are reading this, can u link me again? i'll get it posted! sorry guys!

*update! thanks to Ewin, the event that King Yo Star is sponsoring is the BIYO!
Bali International Yoyo Open!
clicky!

it was still on prototype stage, now the Hop King has reach a production stage, and more pictures are shared with Singapore Yoing by Alan Ngai & Chen Jia Lin, thanks guys~

Hop King had created a new Anti-vibration system in the edge. It's very diffcult to get the vibrate and damage, if the player always dinged on the floor.

YYF SUPERwide & Aoda Miracle different?

looking at this video of Chen Jia Lin freestyling, it reminds me of the speculation about whether the YYF SUPERwide plays the same as Aoda Miracle.
this is just what i think and guess, its seems like a SUPERwide/Miracle that Kuyos is using in the freestyle, but i think YYF haven't not come out with a yellow/gold SUPERwide yet, but what Kuyos have in his hand is a Red/Gold yoyo, SUPERwide is red, Miracle is gold, if they plays alot different, and will affect play that much, Kuyos probably wouldn't match them together, yea?
or maybe it affects but Kuyos does it anyway, he's good enough to handle them.

Kuyos Chan aka Chen Jia Lin

make a name for himself doing the rotating Eli Hop during AP2010, and later produced the Miracle(the now refined & rebranded SUPERwide) by Aoda.
Chen Jia Lin will be featured a the YYF SUPERwide video if i'm not mistaken, however, i don't know if YYF will market the SUPERwide as Chen Jia Lin's signature yoyo.
