Crucial Replacement Shells

visited YoYoSkills and saw these.

went to the Crucial fb page and grabbed these.

a pretty cool concept that Crucial's experimenting.
think YYF's pocket change. but the outer shell's plastic, an the body/hub piece aluminum.
so player/consumers will only need to change the shell with different shapes.

also, I came across these pictures on the fb page, these were posted back in August 2011, yes, pretty long ago and I didn't came across this at all... so I thought I'll share even though I'm late on this.

looks nice, probably fun to play with, looks like a YYJ Synergy concept.

unnamed yet~ over here you see is the prototype, with a more concave cutting on the body shape.

over here, should be what the final product would look like. cutting changed, more to convex.

so as to maintain the weight and speed i think.

looking at it i would say i prefer the coating this time.

and it seems a little wider? which would be nice. i tried the beta, it's a little awkward holding it due to the width and shape, a little wider would fix it, but thats just my preference~

some have heard, now you see.

i actually like how the hub is being done, double threaded.

but the seats... i'm worry about the wearing out.

seems to be made after the Turning Point MaxBet.

and with that hub axle system, there's many possibilities, hubstack add-on axle systems for one?

"Here are first looks at Crucial’s upcoming yoyo Delicious.  This is the follow up and redesign of the unreleased Metal Tres Leches.  I designed this yoyo with 3A style of play in mind.  The yoyo is heavily rim weighted for long sleep times and a stable throw.  It features a low wall for so there is less tilt when doing velvet style tricks and combos.  Weighing in at 68 grams, it’s more on the heavier side, just the way I like it for 3A:)  Don’t sweat though, this yoyo is fast and is great for single A.  Size specs coming soon."
