SYBlog: Dream-Yo Samurai promo

so here we are, DreamYo Samurai promo videos along with a write-up!
sorry this took so long. have been busy with school, and write-up for me usually takes more time then usual entries. so the prominent thing about this yoyo is its design, very similar to Takuto's L4 and YYF's Avant Garde. so here's some photos of the comparison between the Samurai and Avant Garde.

Shall not argue over who's the original over here, there's already enough argument over this, but I personally guess that its more of less a little inspired by the L4.
but I have to say the Samurai is probably the best from DreamYo I've ever tried.
its my favorite DreamYo yoyo.

when I first got it, I was confused over who's the maker, I was like, "hey, a package from Alan, in behalf of DreamYo!" and then I open it, I was like, "wait, did I get it right? its DreamYo right?" because I always have this impression of DreamYo yoyos... this design they have, but this is so different. at least it looks very fresh to me for a DreamYo, I so want to give it a throw!
so okay, aside from haveing similar wall system as the L4, this yoyo also reminds me of come other yoyo design. the hub's a little like the Crucial Confection which is Darrell Mitchell's signature yoyo, the body kinda reminds me of the Hspin CUT.

so this yoyo is very stable, a brand new one needs some break-in on the pads, after that, it'll be really smooth and have long spin. I haven't try an Avant Garde yet so I can't compare the playability to it. But I really have to say again, this is by far the best playing DreamYo I've tried, but its just me. you may like the other models better. I guess this new L4 wall system, I don't know the term for this yet... this system, probably give the yoyo/player a very good advantage, the rim weight's all concentrated on the outside. its stability is good, once again, very long spin, once again. the finish is just anodised, but it grinds well for me, and looking at WeiXuan doing horizontal tricks with it, I believe it ain't a problem at all.
and yes, there's speed, you can play it, fast. very tight bind, but not snaggy after break-in. the pads are regular DreamYo pads, not anything different. IRG, tried, not easy, guess its not meant for it. did I mentioned its my favorite DreamYo by far?
