CALLING ALL VIEWERS!!!

SPINWORKX is seeking the help of ALL LOCALS to come take part in a RECORD BREAKING ATTEMPT this Sunday at the Ulu Pandan Community Club Centre.

We are going to try and break the record for “Most Yo-Yos Played at one Time”!!! The current standing is at 435 people, and we need your help to make this event a success!

Date: 12th July 2009 (Sunday)

Time: 8:00 am

Venue: Ulu Pandan Community Club Centre

Attire: Casual

Fee: FREE!

This event will end around noon.

If you do not have a yo-yo, fret not!!! Spinworkx will be selling Duncan Ignites, a basic ball bearing yo-yo, at just SGD$3.00!!!

UPCC will be subsidizing the price of this yo-yo for the attempt so here’s your chance to buy a yo-yo now!!!

There'll also be a Division Yoyo records attempt segment for Spinners, details:

Time: 10:00am
Fee: FREE
Rules: A competitor can only have one attempt per trick, per contest.

Once a record attempt has begun, the contestant has a two-minute grace period to restart if needed. After two minutes no further restarts of that trick are allowed.

Example: If you are attempting to break the Eli Hop record, and you miss the string after 42 hops…..but only 58 seconds have elapsed, you can start over. Once the two-minute mark has passed, you can no longer start again.

Two Categories: Open (Age 15 and above) & Junior (Age 14 and below below)
* Depending on the participation some tricks attempt may be cancelled

One hand Behind the back loops
Shoot the Moon
Suicides catch Consecutive until extinction (Player must use same finger to catch all suicides)
