Peak Hulk Smash Edition - Potential String Breakage Issue

Hello Everyone,

To anyone who purchased a Hulk Smash Peak: It has been brought to my attention that there is an issue with string breakage with the Hulk Smash Peaks.

Due to the blasting process prior to anodizing a rough surface finish is left behind. This can wear your strings. For the first little bit please monitor your strings and change them often. 100% Poly is best.

Also to speed up this break in period you can also rub the gap area around the outside of the silicone groove towards the transition radius with a used sock, or a ladies nail buffer, or a wet sand with 900-1200 grit sandpaper. Lightly massage the area until the roughness is gone. The best thing to try first is the sock method. Just a light massage with either method and that should do the trick.

This is unfortuantely only ocurring with the Hulk Smash Peaks as they were done by gruntbull and their blasting process is more agressive then my regular anodizer. This will not occur with the Sebastian Brock, 28 Stories, Clareview and Chesterman Peak Editions.

We did not run into any issues with these during testing so I'm sorry that this wasn't caught in time.

If there are any issues please give me a shout asap and I'll do my best to make sure you are happy.

Best Regards,

Chris Mikulin
