We intentionally decided to leave most of the specs as they are, this includes the gap width. What we changed: The halves are siliconable! We recommend to silicone only one (1) yoyo half, and to make sure that the silicone surface is konkave (denting inwards), and further, to wash the bearing. That performs wonderfully!
