if you guys have been visiting the forums, you'll read about the new respond that the LOOP720 is using, new unique respond. string. yes, string respond, or rather old string.
whether or not its good, 2A players, these are quote from ReverendYo himself:

Pros: It really helped me to straighten out my inside loops, and feels very nice (smooth?) on the string compared to pad response or starburst yoyos.
Cons: It feels a bit heavy to me, and although it probably is me I didn't feel like the the response was consistant.

but proto aren't always better then production runs.
