this version of Hper Comet is only available at the World Hobby Fair 2010, which i think is given out as freebies. also come with it are the yoyo holder, and a... can i call it a brochure?

the new Firedog/Hyper Comet is Loop-able unlike the old ones i got.

its thicker, its more solid, feels more fun.

YYF Firedog/ Hyper Comet

remember i mentioned the change in the YYF Firedogs?

Taka posted pictures of the old Firedogs and Hyper Comet version side by side.

the one on the left is the one i got, but different run, mine doesn't loop. really. i got a pair. both have the same problem. not even when 3 loop is applied around the transaxle.

but the Hyper edition looks rather alright. i wish to try these.

i got a pair and they don't loop, but mine are the older ones like the one on the left picture, with the patent/product number on the cap.

the right one seem to be be a new one that have improved, like the Hyper Yoyo version.

looks more solid. would love to try these out.
