been long since i did any write-up! got the Dream-Yo Godzilla for pretty long but have yet to write about it, even the video came up first! so more photos first!
So like mentioned in the Dream Yo M write-up, i initially thought the M is the Godzilla renamed, because the Godzilla didn't come together with the other Dream Yo yoyos, until i receive this then i know its actually a different thing.
First of all this yoyo is bulky. I wouldn't say this is something that everyone will like, definitely something that needs some getting used to, its bulky, it feels huge and wide in the palm, if you ask me, imagine a Hspin G&E4 but wider and bulkier, it felt that way to me, i remember G&E4 being huge and wide for me already. if anyone feels its a incorrect comparison, i haven't think of anything to compare it with at the moment.
Even though i'm not a fan of the Godzilla, but some players still likes it, thats why i was sent the sample, to let players around try! I do enjoy playing with some oversized yoyo but the Godzilla is just a tad too bulky for me, but WeiXuan was enjoying it.
It has pretty long spins, string hits were pretty easy, it does grinds, and like usual, i suck at horizontal very much, but I initially thought it could be harder to perform horizontal tricks on this yoyo as compared to other yoyos but look at WeiXuan doing the horizontal tricks, it seems pretty easy! IRG's pretty much easy too.

I would have like it to be slightly smaller then its former size but thats the whole idea of its name i guess? its meant to be big. so i'll leave it at that. overall, I was still able to throw all my tricks on it, lacerations, whips, slacks, etc. for me, it was fun to play with it once in a while, but a tad too bulky for me as a regular player though.
like all newer Dream Yos, it comes with spare pair of pads, i kinda like their pads, probably not the best just yet, but its pretty tight!
if you're a fan of oversized yoyo, do give this a try, if any of you local players want try a specific sample yoyos do drop me a message as I'm only bringing the newer samples along these days!
