Set up during try-out.
During the period when I was playing with it, I used Kitty String normal & nylon, I'm not a fan of the stock string. I used the stock bearing, which was a YoYoAddict Concave stainless steel bearing, I did not at any point switch to any other bearing.
Opinions.
So I mentioned that locally, most players preferred the ANGLE to the
SUPERFLY, it's probably because of the shape and size, and weight.
The ANGLE is a little bit undersized with a diameter at 52mm, but I guess the shape and width compensate that, it felt more like a normal size yoyo to me personally. And also probably because of its size, it feels a little rimmed weighted at 66g.

I also made my point about how I initially expected sOMEThING's yoyo would feel like, but I've since grown to like it, in fact I used to prefer the ANGLE, now honestly speaking, I personally grown to like both. Now the ANGLE's shape looks more like something I think Hiroyuki would used, it's just me, I feel it's more like him, in my opinion.
The ANGLE feels pretty comfortable in the palm, the throw was pretty nice, no throw-back feel. It really smooth on the string, slacks, whips, string hardly get caught onto the yoyo shape and stuff, no snaggy feel, very stable during combos and tricks, does not tilt easily. now speed wise, even though the ANGLE is lighter than the SUPERFLY, but, I couldn't get it to play as fast as the SUPERFLY, but it could just be me. Flops are firm. Grinds, however, does not really work for me, it could once again be the weather, because honestly speaking, Singapore has been really humid lately, very sticky fingers. Binds are tight. Normal lacerations are no problem. Horizontal tricks, however, I still can't execute any horizontal tricks, but I've seen players doing horizontal stuff with it when they were trying the ANGLE out, and I would say it handle it pretty well.
I've seen players, mostly Hiroyuki fans, comparing which to get, the SUPERFLY or the ANGLE? honestly speaking I can't give you a definite answer, I would compete with more confidence using the SUPERFLY though, if you ask me. but the ANGLE is really nice to play with, and cost slightly lower than the SUPERFLY.
So local players, those who have yet to try the ANGLE, if you wanna try it out before making a purchase, you can look for me during the yoyo sessions.
