Adegle Roc & Whale

so yes, haven't been posting much useful entries other than videos, not that the videos aren't useful though, but they're all videos, no contents. because I was having exams. but its over, so let me try get things done. write-ups! here's  for Adegle Roc & Whale.
some photos first.
both the Whale(blue) and Roc(white) share the same kind of packaging, and the specs are the same except for the weight, the Roc's heavier.
here's the Whale and accessories.
they come installed with thin spacer, yes, the ones that were used in the new PSG and Asteroid, but they also come with spare thick spacers that were the same from the first batch PSG, so you can adjust your gap.
the Rock in white.
but since they're the exact same thing aside from the weight difference, I'm only taking pictures of the insides of the Whale.
I want to specially share these photos about how the yoyo is being assembled.
I think its important, it may help consumers and player to decide better whether you want to invest in this yoyo.
also did a video if pictures ain't enough.

so yea. the shape's similar to Comet, but enlarged. a almost wall-less offstring yoyo. the hub piece uses Adegle's response sticker as a grip to keep the halves in place, also to compensate that very small gap between the two pieces.
probably also to absorb the shock somehow.
it also uses a thin bearing.
so here goes, the yoyo, to me, is pretty fun, I mean you can really see me playing with it often, BUT, I honestly feel not everyone's gonna like it, like I've said before, I may like a yoyo, but it doesn't mean because its a perfect yoyo, I simply just like it.
so lets talk more about how it plays.
In short, it has a slight throw back feel, it hardly bounce for me, sometimes it do, when it does, it sounds like it's gonna break, that worries me a little as I have yet to film a promo for it. Of course if it breaks, I'll post about it. Most of our local 4A pioneers tried and don't really like it. One of them though, one of the best from the older batch, feels that its pretty good. The yoyo does spin long though, at least for me?
String whips are no problem, regens seems okay when other players were trying out.
Lin-Kai mentioned its meant more for the string style play, so maybe that's why our local 4A players didn't really enjoy it? it's a pretty good 1A yoyo though I feel, even though it's not meant for 1A. so about the hub piece... I have my opinion on this, even though I can't say "I know a fair bit about 4A" because I've been told I can't say that unless I've qualified or have some placing on the division, so... I'll just share it anyways, it's kind of my job to do so, no? I feel that using the response sticker as the grip to keep the hub and halves in place, may be the only idea because of how the yoyo is being design, but upon abuse, which 4A always does, it'll worn out pretty quickly. But I've check with Lin-Kai and and he said that there haven't been any issues or feedback from any players that own the yoyo, and also, his reason for using the response sticker is to make things easy for player and consumer when they need to replace any parts. that being said, Adegle do sell parts of the Roc & Whale if you need any.
so to conclude this, yea, when I first take the yoyo apart, first thing that came to my mind was, 4A players may not really like this, but however, I kind of enjoy it.
but I wouldn't say its really a great 4A yoyo, I'll just share what I feel may be an issue to consumers and players.
since I haven't film a promo for these yoyos, and YoYoRaven have did one, I thought I'll share it first so you guys can see how it plays.
also, for local players, its best you try these yoyos out, like Syafiq, he thinks the yoyo's not bad unlike most players. Anyone has a different view on these? reply in the comment secton!a
