C3YoyoDesign Berserker

was chatting with the 3 bosses of C3YoyoDesign and they mention about a bimetal yoyo which I've been assuming is a plastic yoyo with metal weights, and when the bimetal yoyo finally have its pictures floating around facebook, I'm like, woah, this is the bimetal? its metal with metal. I got mine not long after, I couldn't wait to try it.
When I first saw the Berserker logo on facebook, I was already pretty excited, I don't know if its the name, or the way the logo is being designed. Maybe the name, like Wolverine? like Berserker Barrage!
okay.
so when I first got this yoyo, the profile did remind me of a YYR yoyo, but after much handling with it, that thought left my mind. first throw was super nice, its like a love at first sight. Darkstar was the first yoyo I got from C3, and I love it, and then the Halo, it was great but not to the point where I love it like the Darkstar, I then tried all the other C3 yoyo from WeiXuan and they're all really nice, the Trident for one is really nice! but still, it wasn't something I throw every single day, not that its not good enough for me to throw everyday, but rather, it's not something that I would throw everyday. until Walter decides to send me a Berserker. I was excited to try, but never thought it would be something I'll throw every day. I love my personal GM2.2, but I don't throw it everyday. but the C3 Berserker... damn.
I haven't check with C3 why the idea to have two metal in one yoyo and in this manner, but I'm pretty sure its not for the sake of doing it. So the Berserker have a CBC bearing on it like all of C3's current yoyos. I took it out of the box, took some photos, post some instagrams, put on a Nylon Kitty String, and try out all combos I could think of at that moment, it was so smooth, so nice, so stable! I hardly have the yoyo dying. at first look I expected it to be light, it look like something light to me but no, its almost 68g, but still being able to play fast. Flops, lacerations, slacks were all not a problem at all. And I personally feel that the weight rings reminds me of the YYF Northstar's weight ring, they look like they have a IRG lip, I tried and failed, maybe its just a design to keep the weight well distributed. It does not grind for me, but it really depends on the weather here in Singapore, I mean it grinds, but its not butter smooth for me.
and yes, I hardly ding my yoyos but I accidentally hit the Berserker on my room floor but there isn't any scuff or such on it, and it doesn't vibe. oh yes... I just realise I haven't mention the word "vibe" in this write-up, the Berserker is vibeless, after that slight ding, still doesn't vibe, and I am still loving it.
Now from the profile view, the yoyo does feel like any yoyo on the market, but look at the front/hub view and you'll see the precision design. I would urge players to try this yoyo out if you have the chance, well I do urge players to try out all the samples I got, but seriously, try the Berserker! if you still have that impression that Asian made yoyos have a shitty Asian made feel, honestly, no more, and the Berserker is way above that, in my opinion. If you have tried the Berserker and have a different opinion, feel that the Berserker is over-rated, so leave your thoughts in the comment section.
